Isabella Califano Ehrlich, Principal

Design is in Isabella’s blood. She comes from a long line of architects and artists, (including her grandfather Lawrence Perkins, one of the founding partners of Perkins & Will and her great-grandfather Dwight Heald Perkins, who shared an office with Frank Lloyd Wright). Following her earlier passions for house design, Isabella has been fortunate to parlay a 15+ year career in retail marketing as a creative director into an interior design and general contracting business.

Over the past fifteen years Isabella has assembled a team of builders, artisans and tradespeople with great scrutiny. Carefully vetted and selected for their reliability, attention to detail and craftsmanship, she oversees and manages each step of the design and construction process. She brings an Ivy League education to an industry that is often fraught with poor management and vision.

Isabella is particularly drawn to the renovation and restoration of historic homes. She served for four years on the Historic Districts Commission in Concord, Massachusetts. She also worked at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City in American Decorative Arts, focusing on furniture from the Gilded Age.

Prior to designing and renovating homes, Isabella was the Managing Creative Director for Burt’s Bees Baby, a licensee of Burt’s Bees and owned by the Clorox Company and a Creative Director for Pottery Barn Kids, a division of Williams Sonoma in San Francisco.

She is a graduate of Princeton University and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with her guitar-loving attorney husband and their four children. Her work focuses on metro west Boston and coastal towns in Rhode Island.

Brittany Truett, Design Director

Brittany has been in residential interior design for several years since completing her education at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her journey to interior design began with obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and her love for textiles comes into play in her designs through layering textures and prints. Brittany spent the next decade working within fast paced production industries. Experience was cultivated between film and television production accounting as well as 2D and 3D image production with the major e-commerce retailer, Wayfair.

Brittany is inspired to create spaces that truly feed the soul and offer a dash of the unexpected. In day to day life you'll find her chasing the warm weather, trying to keep her plants alive, busying herself with creative projects (sewing, painting...), getting sucked into a good book and enjoying time with her husband, Brian, and pups Liv + Elliot.

Brittany can be reached at brittany@milkandhoneygroup.com.

Daniela Zaragoza, Architectural Designer

Daniela was an architect before she realized from the moment that “playing dolls” meant transforming cardboard boxes into houses and using household items to build entire cities in her parent’s living room. That out-of-the-box creativity has now transcended into a passion for creating something new out of nothing and designing spaces that bring joy to whoever inhabits them. She received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Northeastern University and has started to build her career working at residential firms and historic renovation projects in Boston and Mexico.

Daniela loves spending her afternoons painting or sketching a drawing but will never turn down the opportunity to walk around the city and explore new places. She loves spending her free time with her family and baking with her sister on the weekends.

Daniela can be reached at daniela@milkandhoneygroup.com.

Sam Parr, Senior Designer

Samantha is a residential designer armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from Endicott College, and nearly a decade of professional experience. Her background also includes luxury merchandising and real estate staging. The combination of her education and diverse experience within highly visual fields allows Samantha to specialize in intricate space planning to maximise functionality, while selecting carefully curated furnishings to create equally practical yet beautiful interiors.

Samantha's dedication to both her craft and community shines through in every project and endeavor she undertakes. During the colder months, you will likely find her at an ice rink coaching girls' high school hockey, where she dedicates her time to empowering and uplifting young women through mentorship and support. Beyond design, Samantha loves taking new adventures with her husband, Rob, and quiet moments lounging with her beloved dog, Enzo.

Sam can be reached at sam@milkandhoneygroup.com.

Ali Pothier, Studio Manager

Ali has been in a leadership role her entire life as a big sister, which encouraged her journey to Plymouth State University where she studied business management.  Following college, she began a 17-year career in the law field starting as an Assistant and working her way up to Office Manager and Executive Assistant.  Her skilled experience and her passion for all that embodies a management role made it really exciting for her to join our team as Studio Manager.

Ali has two little shadows, her pups Molly and Tucker, who are never more than 3 steps behind. This pack loves exploring new beaches and trail walks. She also loves riding horses, spending time with family and friends, and oddly enough doing yard work during the summer and shoveling snow in the winter.  Ali usually stays busy, but her guilty pleasure is sitting on the couch with a bowl of Smartfood, watching HGTV.

Ali can be reached at ali@milkandhoneygroup.com.
