Handpicked this week: March 20

Welcome to my Handpicked by Milk and Honey Group newsletter. We are moving right along with all of our projects and couldn't be more excited to show you what we have been working on. We have a new photographer partner in the works and are gearing up for all of our projects to be shot so we can keep all of you in the loop !

For new subscribers, in this weekly newsletter I share my top picks for the week - trends or particularly noteworthy design. Each week I share an interior, a real estate listing and a style item that I think are special. I hope you'll let me know what you think!

1] Handpicked: INTERIOR

Hutker Architects is pure inspiration for me. Coming from a long line of architects, I was "dragged" as a child to houses and schools and buildings all over this country and beyond. So I know what I love, and what really moves me... and Hutker Architects is everything. Every detail is considered and thoughtful and just stunning. I love that they capture my favorite parts of California design, with a meld of indoor and outdoor living, but their work is also uniquely appropriate to and evocative of New England (think barn details, shingle style architecture, etc).

This gorgeous home in Lincoln, MA was one of my first glimpses at Hutker's incredible work.

2) Handpicked: REAL ESTATE

That 70 degree day on Friday buoyed my mood so when I saw this house... I have one word for you. POOL. It is in the CITY. Yes, it has beautiful hardwood floors throughout, and a ton of potential with with all the extra living space and Victorian details (props for the vintage BMW in the drive). But did I mention the pool? Update the kitchen and it's a pool AND a party!

3) Handpicked: STYLE

As someone who focused on painting during my university and art schools years, I am always drawn to textile artists who have a painterly feel. Recently we ordered some fabrics from Megan Adams Brooks and they are beautiful! While her fabric is more in the vein of Quadrille (a little more traditional), her artwork can work in many different spaces from transitional to modern. I am so excited to share her work with all of you and encourage you to explore her offerings.

I hope you love these handpicked favorites! Have a great weekend and I'll chat with you next week!
