Handpicked this week - February 6

Welcome to my Handpicked by Milk and Honey Group newsletter. For new subscribers, in this weekly newsletter I share my top picks for the week - trends or particularly noteworthy design. Each week I share an interior, a real estate listing and a style item that I think are special. I hope you'll let me know what you think!

1] Handpicked: INTERIOR

In the past few months, I have really enjoyed following W Design Collective on Instagram. Based in Utah, they specialize in new construction and full furnishing/design, and their design reflects a west-coast sensibility but a unique layering of textures that feels very current. What I love most about them however is their irreverence... Like "Three Things I've had to Unlearn as a Designer" and my personal favorite "Why You Shouldn't Treat Your Home Only as an Investment." (For those reading this newsletter, I really recommend you read the latter, especially in this current climate of HGTV shows on flipping.)

I love that their style is a mash-up of traditional and fresh - the warmer notes of cream combined with metals and raw woods, interesting paneling, and an introduction of color. What do you think?

2) Handpicked: REAL ESTATE

I am completely obsessed with this gorgeous 1860 farmhouse in Westport, MA, right on the border of Little Compton in the Acoaxet neighborhood. Formerly a working farm, it has all the wonderful outbuildings - a studio, barns, etc. - that have the making of an incredible family compound. It doesn't need much to make it spectacular (perhaps some kitchen upgrades and there are no photos of the baths...) and it also has the potential to be off the grid.

Who wants to go take a peek?

3) Handpicked: STYLE

A former protégée of Kelly Wearstler, Isobel Mills became a textile designer after expanding beyond her love of ceramics and clay. Her collection is a celebration of gorgeous, vibrantly colored fabrics that can be at home in a coastal, contemporary or traditional home. Here are some of my favorites:

That's all from our team this week - can't wait until next week!
