Handpicked this week - February 12

The warm weather is a capricious sphinx. Is it warm? Is it cold? We are taking advantage of deceptively warm days in our builds, which allows for attention to indoor/outdoor spaces, mechanicals, etc. And then of course warmer days means a perfect temperature for laying tile when we don't have heat firing. The weather in New England is always a wild card!

Welcome to my Handpicked by Milk and Honey Group newsletter. For new subscribers, in this weekly newsletter, I share my top picks for the week - trends or particularly noteworthy designs. Each week I share an interior, a real estate listing, and a style item that I think is special. I hope you'll let me know what you think!

1] Handpicked: INTERIOR

Alice Gaskell is the founder of Alice Grace Interiors. Alice (in the UK) has her finger on the pulse of timeless, European details that are merged with contemporary living. Her spaces are timeless and beautiful, and her love for fabric and pattern blending adds depth and warmth to her designs.

Every corner is carefully considered to balance functional practicality with traditional elegance. Check her out!

2) Handpicked: REAL ESTATE

This 1895 Colonial Revival sits on a lovely corner lot in historic Avon Hill in Cambridge. We would have died to find a home like this when we were looking, and a slight dip in the market (due to interest rates) means this home is still available. All the special details are present - a welcoming front porch, original architectural details and lots of space make this a must-see.

3) Handpicked: STYLE

I am obsessed with Elsie Green, and you should be too. She offers the most incredible collection of vintage pieces hand-picked from flea markets in France and Belgium. Her website showcases a unique offering that I rely on for clients looking for vintage patina in their homes.

Make sure you subscribe to her newsletter for the latest in furnishings and travel. That's all from our team this week - can't wait until next week!
