Handpicked this week - February 19

Welcome to my Handpicked by Milk and Honey Group newsletter. For new subscribers, in this weekly newsletter, I share my top picks for the week - trends or particularly noteworthy designs. Each week I share an interior, a real estate listing, and a style item that I think is special. I hope you'll let me know what you think!

1] Handpicked: INTERIOR

This week I'm featuring a dear friend, Mindy Laven, whom I met on Instagram and really cherish. Based in Newport Beach, she is a super-talented designer, but she is also like a west coast Martha Stewart. No joke. Check out her recipes (my current favorites are the chicken zucchini dumplings and her ridiculous baked brie).

Make sure you sign up for her newsletter to get her lifestyle tips - decorating, design, food and more.

2) Handpicked: REAL ESTATE

It's ridiculous to say, but it's hard to find a house at this price point in Concord Center. This sweet Victorian home, located just steps from all the "action" in Concord, has both a fantastic location and many charming original details. However, it could use a refresh on its 1950/60s updates to restore its original appeal.

Located between two of my large projects, I drive by this four-bedroom beauty multiple times a week and would love to fix it up for you!

3) Handpicked: STYLE

It is really interesting to see how wallpaper can exist both in a traditional home but also be very current. Contemporary like Gwyneth Paltrow's Montecito Home, or at home in a historical property, I am using Ananbo Paper (based in Paris) in several homes we are renovating (shout out to my friend and client Mandy who introduced me to them).

Tropical or traditional, colorful or grisaille (that's grayscale for those of you who didn't major in art history), Ananbo is a fun way to add sparkle to any first-floor space.

Make sure you subscribe to her newsletter for the latest in furnishings and travel. That's all from our team this week - can't wait until next week!
