Handpicked this week - March 26

Welcome to my Handpicked by Milk and Honey Group newsletter. For new subscribers, in this weekly newsletter I share my top picks for the week - trends or particularly noteworthy design. Each week I share an interior, a real estate listing, and a style item that I think is special. I hope you'll let me know what you think!

1] Handpicked: INTERIOR

Based in Singapore, I am obsessed with the layered granny chic, over-the-top work of Elizabeth Hay Design. I have two clients who I know would love the inspiration she provides (yes Stephanie and Alexandra, I'm referring to you). Her tagline is "The Antidote to Beige" and I think she definitely delivers! I love that her style resurrects the unapologetic excess of the 80s (yup, Laura Ashley is back).

Extravagant and lavish in its upholstery and furnishings - what do you think? I really hope her clients have good cleaners who dust :)

2) Handpicked: REAL ESTATE

What would be the perfect place to add some of this vibrant color? Why this lovely Victorian home in Westport! While it has a beautiful kitchen, this house suffers from classic "I did my renovation in phases over 30 years" confusion. It needs some help to tie all the spaces together - I'm envisioning a lot of brass hardware and a hefty dose of Farrow and Ball paint.

And while you're down there, go check out the Simmons Cafe and Market (and home) that's for sale in Adamsville (which straddles Little Compton and Westport). You can be the next owner and live in summer glory all year long!

3) Handpicked: STYLE

One of my favorite sources for vintage furniture is Los Angeles-based Sunbeam Vintage. I particularly love their seating options - sofas and cantilevered chairs. But they have a wonderful selection of cheeky and color-drenched art as well. They ship to the east coast so don't be afraid of their location!

That's all from our team this week - can't wait until next week!
