Handpicked this week - April 9

Welcome to my Handpicked by Milk and Honey Group newsletter. For new subscribers, in this weekly newsletter I share my top picks for the week - trends or particularly noteworthy design. Each week I share an interior, a real estate listing and a style item that I think are special. I hope you'll let me know what you think!

1] Handpicked: INTERIOR

Alison Lewis is a designer in Melbourne Australia who also transitioned into the world of Interior Design from a corporate career. Her style reflects times and places so vividly. From a 70’s bohemian oasis filled with color to a sleek modern home filled with neutral tones and textures, I love her juxtaposition of curves with linear moments (just look at the first kitchen - the fluted hood, the arched door, and the curved island).

2) Handpicked: REAL ESTATE

This lovely neutral charmer was once home to the legendary composer Cole Porter (obviously the composer of “Anything Goes” for our Broadway fans!). This house is a library lover's DREAM with that blend of dark colors with natural light. Some rooms really could use a facelift, while other rooms are really having their own pop of color moment. "Night and Day" this one is sure to be a super special home!

3) Handpicked: STYLE

Mid Century LA is one of my favorite sources for vintage pieces (again no worries - they ship!). They have the crème de la crème in terms of classic modern pieces - Togo, Cinna (Ligne Roset), Camaleonda (Bellini). I'm always delighted when their Insta announces a new container has arrived!

Which piece do you want to bring home?

That's all from our team this week - can't wait until next week!
